FREEZE R507 (or just R507) is a widely used, synthetic HFC refrigerant, an azeotropic blend of R-125 and R-143a, popular as a zero-ODP (Ozone Depletion Potential) replacement for older
R-502 and R-22 gases in commercial refrigeration (supermarkets, cold storage, transport) for low to medium temperature applications. It offers similar performance to R-502 but with a higher GWP (Global Warming Potential), making it effective but facing environmental scrutiny, often used in systems needing lower temperatures than R404A. 
Key Characteristics:
  • Type: HFC (Hydrofluorocarbon) blend, azeotropic.
  • Composition: R-125 and R-143a.
  • Environment: Zero Ozone Depletion Potential (ODP), but has a high Global Warming Potential (GWP).
